Patrick Norman is an award-winning director whose films have catalyzed critical discussions and driven social change.

His work, which was praised as “independent filmmaking at its best” by the Huffington Post, includes the acclaimed documentary “Pinned” that helped reframe the national conversation on healthy sports nutrition for high school athletes.

It also features “the craziest f&$*ing thing” that Stephen Colbert has ever seen, but that’s another story.

Building on the success of that film, he partnered with Fountainhead Transmedia to produce, film, and edit the feature documentary “Haiti: Redux,” a critical examination of post-earthquake reconstruction used as a resource by NYU along with nonprofits and NGOs to understand and overcome the holistic challenges in rebuilding infrastructure following disasters.

His latest film “Full Circle” reveals how mastectomy tattoos empower breast cancer survivors to take control of their own healing, and premieres nationally on PBS in October 2023.

He lives in works in Los Angeles.
